has everyone started waxing their boards? Royal Gorge on Sun?Posted: 10/16/2009 9:19 AM
Yes, If y'all could not tell, I have a real problem! I must get out a few more times this season. If anyone wants to get a run in this Sun. my first choice is the Gorge (a new run for me), ShoSho & Glen PP, or the lower Blue (maybe fish?).

Any input is welcome....too cold? too dry? too stupid? It is my first season so let me know if any of these apply to me. I have lived here 5yrs now and still can't find anything cool to carry me through this "waiting on snow" time of year!

It's called "Westwater". If I wasn't heading out again this weekend, I'd join ya for the more local runs...

Thought about it and should probably add some 'real' advice rather than the bs I posted before...

If you do The Gorge... Sunshine is at its stickiest around 400 (as in rope probably required to get out). Also, you can take out at Tunnel Drive vs the park to save some scraping.

This is prime mountain biking season! The Gorge is good fun at this level though. Beware the headwind on the looooong paddle out (though not as long and windy as WW).
