Overview
On Saturday June 9 2007, Lyons Colorado will host the 5th annual Lyons Outdoor Games. Event includes:
- Creek Race (South Saint Vrain, V/V+)
- Down River Race ( North Saint Vrain, II-III)
- Boater X (Saint Vrain, II-III)
- Amateur and Pro Freestyle (Black Bear/October Holes and A-Hole)
- Bike Trials Event
- Dog Trick Competition
Event Location
- Nestled in the foothills 15 miles north of Boulder and 40 miles from Denver, Lyons is home to spectacular kayaking, biking and climbing. These attributes along with out hometown culture is the defining force behind the Lyons Whitewater Festival. The events will be held just as you drive into Lyons on the South side of HWY 66 across from the Black Bear Inn.

Two Classic Creeks
- Narrows on the South Saint Vrain (Class V/V+)
- Lower SSV and Lower NSV offer Class IV+ - III)
