This stretch of whitewater begins at The Numbers take-out offering class III rapids with a moderate gradient good for the beginner to intermediate paddlers. The run starts out with a class III section called Fractions which leads into Frog Rock. The second section contains two notable rapids Frog Rock and House Rock. Frog Rock rapid can be dangerous so proceed with caution. The failure to make the move to the left at the end of this rapid could lead to death. It features two large undercuts with a sieve in the middle. House Rock rapid is marked by a large boulder that splits the river into two channels about a mile before the Buena Vista take-out. Consider scouting this rapid.
