The first few miles of this run is pleasant Class III-IV water. A couple miles into the run you'll comes to The Dam. The Dam can be portaged on river left. Give this one a good scout for the right line to prevent a piton and to miss all the cable that snakes through this rapid.
Several turny rapids continue after the dam, with good moving current and some sticky holes to get your attention.
The water mellows after you go under a railroad bridge. About 3/4 mile after the bridge is the take out or continue your day through Pine Creek.
Difficulty Information: - III (IV+) <900 cfs - III+ (V-) 900-1500 cfs - IV (V) > 1500 cfs

| | Put-In Turn east off of Highway 24 onto County Road 397 and cross bridge. The parking area is just over the bridge. | | Little Pine Creek/Maytag Class III+ The first serious rapid of the run, this comes in the small gorge you float through when you duck away from the road. Its pretty forward really, just plow through all the crashing holes. | | Old Dam Class V This is the gnarly old dam right above Clear Creek. Portage on river left, or run it on the left side. | | | Pine Creek Class V-
