Lower Mishawaka

Beginning boaters who have graduated from the Filter Plant run might consider progressing to this run. There are fewer man made obstacles to avoid, as in the Poudre Park and Bridges runs. Other than a couple of sticky holes, this run generaly provides only class III adventure and maneuvering. If the water is low this section of the Poudre can be bony in places. During high water, these is lotsof good, fun play, and below the Devil's Staircase (mm 109.3) there is a good play hold (but not for the timid). Typically runs May to August, maybe longer.
Big thanks to CW for being our partner for the EddyFlower Vertical Challenge.
