The Lower Narrows section of the Cache la Poudre is one of Colorado’s classic class V runs. Technical, steep with sharp rocks, and big holes.

The crux drop comes quickly, avoid the beat down of the big hole as well as avoid the rock pile river right of the hole. Easy roadside scouting or portaging available.
