The Grizzly to New Castle run, not to be confused with the class V Grizzly Creek run, is directly below the popular Shoshone run. You put in at the Shoshone takeout. At higher flows there are some easy class III rapids the first half of the run. However, I've only done this stretch a medium flows and it is a nice easy class II+ run great for taking beginner kayakers down. There aren't really any named rapids. The rapids are all just nice wave trains with the occasional rock. There are lots of good places to practice eddy turns and ferrying. The canyon is beautiful. You can take out in Glenwood Springs at the Two Rivers Park. If you continue on to New Castle there is a class III rapid, be careful of the bridge pilings.

This stretch is typically run from March - November.
