Lower Lake
This is a small and short run between Twin Lakes Dam and the confluence with the Arkansas River. Its short, the whitewater isn't that good, and there are some crazy landowners who like to swing their guns around, but it does go, and if youre interested, then it will only take a little bit of your time.
It starts off flat and placid, then flows under the CO 82 bridge, and takes off downhill. A short stretch of III/III+ gives way to the only real rapid of the run, a somewhat lengthy class IV with a small boof in the middle of some boulder dodging. After this is a bony but continuous class III runout to the river.

| | Put-In CO 82 bridge just west of Hwy 24. If this is private property, then you'll need to get to the Twin Lakes Dam itself and put it just below that. | | Big Drop Class IV This is only the bottom half of this drop, the rest involves a bouldery in run. | | Lower Drop Class IV- A short ways below this big one lies another small rapid, a boulder garden that has clean and obvious lines. | | Bony Runout Class III+ This is the bony runout all the way to the Ark. | | | Take-Out Either at the US 24 bridge (possibly private property) or with the confluence of the Ark. |
