The Canyon Run on the Nenana River is filled with amazing scenery. Whitewater ranges from class I to big class IV. The run is pool drop in nature with numumerous waves of all sizes and powerful eddy lines which make for good playboating. The water is extremely cold, 37 degrees on a hot day, so dress accordingly. Keep your eyes peeled for moose along the banks and dall sheep in the gorge. Nenana River typically runs May, June, July, August, and September.
