Park and huck at it's finest. No chance for warm up, the crux of the run starts at the put-in with a 10 foot waterfall. Crystal Mill Falls is usually run down the tongue aiming right, hucking center. Center-left may leave a mark or two. Be prepared for a potential beat down at higher flows. Basically you huck then paddle a scenic section of class III-IV white water for the next 3 miles to the take-out.
The only other signicant class IV drop can be scouted roadside approximately a mile up from the take-out. Consider the right line at higher flows to avoid the hydraulic.
The take-out has two small pulloffs river right. Do not miss the take-out otherwise you will enter the Crystal Gorge where bad things can happen.
