Reviewer Profile:My second boat so the big water would be that much more doable. Also the wife seems a bit too tippy in her EZG 50, so this takes care of that too.

Review: This is a solid boat. Very stable and rolls like a dream. Could not ask for more from the boat.

Pros: Outfitting is good, did I mention it rolls so easy. I had a pyrahna 7-0 and rolled this with half the effort. The large volume makes it a predictable boat and safe. My wife runs it most of the time and I use it for big water.

Cons: It is big, don't expect to do much play in this, I would place it more as a creek boat the than river runner.

Comfort: Nice, would like the hip pads to have a little more vertical movement.

Bottom Line: Easy rolling, big volume pleasure cruise.

Expedition Boat Review

One of the things we liked most about Wave Sport’s Diesel is getting into it after paddling an edgy playboat: The Diesel immediately makes you feel in control. Wave Sport’s F.A.T. outfitting is still tops in the industry because it’s soft, comfortable and provides excellent edge-to-edge control. Speaking of edges, the Diesel’s are as smooth as a Bryan Kirk blunt. With its planning hull and compact lines, the Diesel brings a distinctly playful feel to an expedition-capable ride. Some boaters initially may find it awkward on big water, but with its smooth edges and 75-gallon volume, the Diesel is steady when it counts. The Wave Sport design team has created a kayak that helps boater transition easily from play to hair.
