The 2007 Teva Mountain Games is the country’s largest celebration of mountain sport, soul, and culture. Professional and amateur outdoor adventure athletes, local and from around the world, will converge upon the mountains and rivers of Vail to compete in six sports and ten disciplines including: freestyle and extreme kayaking, kayak and raft paddlecross, bouldering, speed and dyno climbing, freeride and cross country mountain biking as well as road bike hill climbing, trail running, and the ultimate mountain challenge.

In addition to the athletic events, the Teva Mountain Games will include a mountain photography competition, the Gear Town, Adventure Village, and the Zest® Mud Village, as well as live music and mountain lifestyle parties.

All will compete for the highest monetary prize package in adventure sports—a combined $100,000 cash purse.


Come put your paddling skills on the line as competitors test the raging waters of the Vail Valley. Pro and amateur boaters alike will compete in a variety of different kayaking events that are sure to entertain the weekend warrior to the seasoned pro.
